A drug-free period is a period of pausing use after taking medication for a certain amount of time. There is no formula, such as 'one month of rest after several months of use,' that applies to all products and people.

Whether you should pause, discontinue, or resume use is decided after reviewing the actual composition and your current condition.

A drug-free period is different from stopping due to adverse reactions

A drug-free period is a planned interval to pause and re-evaluate. In contrast, stopping because new discomfort occurred after administration is a discontinuation where safety confirmation comes first. Do not group these two cases together as a simple 'short break'; clearly define why you stopped and the conditions under which you may resume.

What changes do you notice during the pause?

Please record the date of your last dose, the reason for starting the pause, changes in target symptoms, and the time it took for any new discomfort to subside. If other medications or lifestyle schedules have changed, please record those as well. A single change, whether improvement or worsening during the pause, is not used to determine the product's efficacy or side effects; the overall progress will be confirmed during a follow-up consultation.

Can I resume taking the remaining product after a pause?

Even if the expiration date and storage condition seem fine, please inquire first if your current condition, medications, or possibility of pregnancy have changed. The FDA advises consulting a healthcare provider when intending to discontinue or use a product differently from instructions, storing it in the original labeled container, and following the indicated directions.
