Duration of Use

The duration of intake is not automatically determined solely by the quantity purchased. Before starting, we will jointly decide what to observe and when to re-evaluate.

If the plan has ended or your condition has changed, the duration is not automatically extended simply because there is remaining product.

What is considered first when determining the duration of intake?

The purpose of intake and the changes to be monitored are determined before the product name. The duration is set by considering items to observe, such as fatigue, appetite, and sleep, the date for the first follow-up consultation, current medications, and underlying conditions. A plan to take a short course to check the response differs in starting point from a plan to take it consistently for a certain period.

What records should I prepare before the medical evaluation?

Please record the start date, daily dosage frequency, missed days, felt changes, and new discomforts by date. Check the remaining quantity and expiration date, but do not extend the duration or take more than planned simply because quantity remains. During re-evaluation, we compare whether the goals have actually changed and weigh the benefits of continued intake against any discomforts.

Can I extend the duration on my own?

If your condition or medications have changed, or if you experienced an adverse reaction, please inquire first. The US FDA also advises that patients confirm with medical staff when, how, and how long to use a medication, as well as under what conditions to stop, and to follow the provided instructions. This principle is not a formula to replace the determination of the duration for individual Korean herbal medicines, but a safety standard referenced when confirming the intake plan.
