Criteria to check first
Follow-up Consultation: Distinguish Between These Three Things
- Prepare medication records
- Do not increase the dose arbitrarily
- Switch to in-person visit if necessary
A follow-up consultation is a process of reviewing changes in your body, discomfort, dosage and timing, and whether treatment was continued or paused during a medical evaluation.
If you are already taking medication, please record the time and amount taken, as well as any other medications taken, in the Baekrokdam online questionnaire and request a medical evaluation again. Depending on the situation, an in-person visit may be recommended.

When should I have a follow-up consultation?
Please inquire when the guided medication period is ending, when there are no expected changes or new discomfort arises, or when other prescription medications are added. You must also notify us before the next dose if there are new plans for pregnancy, breastfeeding, or surgery. Rather than simply ordering more of the same herbal medicine, we review your current goals and bodily changes to adjust the prescription and medication plan.
What should I prepare for a prompt medical evaluation?
dispensing label Please prepare photos, actual dosage and timing, and any missed days. List the improvements and discomforts along with their respective start dates, and provide specific details on changes in sleep, digestion, bowel movements, and pain before and after taking the medication. Please also prepare new test results and a complete list of all medications you are taking.
Are there symptoms for which I should not wait for a follow-up consultation?
Simple inquiries about medication are different from emergency situations. If you experience sudden symptoms such as difficulty breathing, decreased consciousness, rapid swelling of the lips or tongue, severe chest pain, or fainting, do not wait for an online response and seek help from 119 or an emergency room. If other discomforts worsen, contact a medical institution immediately rather than waiting until your next appointment.
