Criteria to check first
Fixed Composition: Distinguish between these three things
- Fixed ingredients and content
- Determining suitability for the body through medical evaluation
- Distinguishing from customized restorative herbal medicine
What is a fixed composition?
A fixed composition is an operational method where the ingredients and content of Gongjindan or Gyeongokgo are not changed from person to person. At Baekrokdam, Gongjindanand Gyeongokgoeach is provided with a predetermined composition.
Does this mean a medical evaluation is not necessary?
No. Even if the composition is the same, we check your current condition and any medications you are taking to determine Whether it is okay to takethe suitability and dosage method. If the fixed composition is not suitable or if the ingredients need to be examined differently, Customized Herbal Medicine we will adjust the composition or consider a different direction for medical evaluation.
If the name is the same, is the composition also the same?
Depending on the medical institution or vendor, the raw material specifications, content, size of 1 pill or 1 pouch, and additive ingredients may vary even if the same prescription name is used. 'Fixed composition' means that the ingredients are not changed for different individuals within that specific herbal medicine; it does not mean that all Gongjindan or Gyeongokgo on the market are identical.
When comparing, check the actual Raw Material and Content Labelingingredients and dosage units rather than the name. If you wish to take a previously used fixed-composition herbal medicine with a new one or switch between them, please consult first regarding overlapping ingredients and the dosage plan.
